2nd Interim show

For the second Interim show, I focused primally on the cinematic shots, I only had interior shots at the time of the show to work with and one recent image that I had taken outside, I was much happier with this Interim show over the first one as I felt confident in the imagery and felt like I was starting to get across the idea that I had planned.

When reading the feedback I was pleased to see that the Cinematic idea was being shown through my images, and have also thought about taking on board the idea of using artificial lighting and gels to create more of a mood. I am going to continue experimenting with both interior and exterior spaces as both can be just as cinematic as each other. Also thanks to the feedback, I am looking at shooting the outdoor spaces in the daytime as well as the nighttime to show the transformation that the night brings to a scene and show how different the mood between images is shown. I am thinking of doing this in book form, having the day picture on one page then the night picture in the exact same place on the next picture, but that is only a slight consideration for now.

I feel after this Interim show and the feedback that I am in a good place with my project and I have got a direction to go down and explore my photographic practice while also exploring the spaces around me and building them into a cinematic scene, looking at different movie shots and exploring how they have been create and attempting to recreate that and build up a story. I may also at a later date bring a model into the frame, and have a story based around that model but that is something I am unsure on but is something I will certainly experiment with.
